Shopping list

Your Commander deck’s shopping list — minus the cards you own

Before you order singles, look in your binders. Commandarium checks every card of a Commander deck against your collection and lists only what is missing — with each card’s price and the total.

How to get a buy list for a Commander deck

  1. Bring in your collection. Import a CSV from ManaBox, Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckbox or Delver Lens, or scan your cards.
  2. Get the deck. Build one around a commander, paste a decklist you found, or open a friend’s shared deck.
  3. Open the Shopping tab. Every card your collection is missing, the most important first, with its price and the total — ready to copy or to send to TCGplayer.

Why the list stays short

Every binder counts

A card counts as owned wherever it sits. Owned is checked against your collection as it is now, so a card you import or scan later drops off the list by itself.

Basic lands are free

Plains, Islands and the rest never land on the list or in the price. Snow-covered basics cost money, so they are listed like any other card.

You decide how much to buy

When the deck is built: My cards first keeps the list as short as possible, My cards + key buys adds what this commander’s decks clearly play more, Best deck goes for the strongest list.

Most important first

The commander comes first if you don’t own it, then the cards that matter most to the deck. Stop where your budget ends.

In your currency

TCGplayer, Cardmarket or Cardhoarder prices in any of 30 currencies. The total says how many of the cards it covers, so a card without a price is never counted as free.

Swap what you won’t buy

Too expensive? In a deck Commandarium built, swap the card for the next best one with one tap — or park it on the sideboard for later.

Buy the missing cards

  • TCGplayer: with TCGplayer as your price source, Buy all on TCGplayer opens TCGplayer’s Mass Entry with every missing card at once.
  • Cardmarket and any other shop: Copy list copies every missing card, one per line (1 Swords to Plowshares) — paste it into a Cardmarket wants list or a shop’s list import. The arrow on each row opens that card in the store you chose. Deck prices on Cardmarket
  • A spreadsheet: export the deck as CSV — the Owned column says yes or no for every card, next to its price.

The cards arrived? Under the list, Add them to my collection… puts them into a binder in one step, and the shopping list is empty. Undo takes them out again.

Check a deck before you buy it

Found a list on Moxfield, Archidekt or in a video? Copy it, paste it under Decks → Import deck, and Commandarium shows which cards you already own before you spend anything. A shared Commandarium deck does the same for your friends: anyone who opens the link sees what they own and what the rest costs them. About deck sharing

Questions

Does it check all my binders?

Yes. A card counts as owned in any binder. Only when you build from one binder are the deck’s cards taken from that binder — and even then, a card you own elsewhere is marked as owned, not as one to buy.

Are the prices up to date?

They are Scryfall’s daily prices from the moment the deck was built or imported. Single-card prices move slowly, but before a big order, check the price in the store.

How do I make the list cheaper?

Build with My cards first, and swap or remove the most expensive cards. For upgrades, Make it stronger takes a price limit per card.

Do I need an account?

No. Collection and decks work without one. A free account syncs them between devices and lets you share a deck by link.

Is it free?

Yes. The optional Plus subscription removes ads and the limit of 5 decks and 5 binders.
