Build Commander decks from the cards you own
Pick a commander. Commandarium fills the other 99 slots from your MTG collection first, balances the deck, checks every rule and lists the few cards you would still need.
Build a Commander deck from your collection
Most deck builders start from a list and ask what you own. Commandarium starts from the cards you own and asks what they can become — a deck in under a minute.
- Choose your commander. Every legendary creature in your collection is offered, the most-played first — or pick any commander you like. Not sure which? Choose one from your collection.
- Commandarium reads it. Themes (tokens, +1/+1 counters, graveyard, tribal …), strategy and color identity, plus EDHREC’s synergy data for that exact commander.
- The deck is built. Your own cards first, then the best cards you are missing — every one marked as owned or to buy, with its price.
An EDH deck builder that knows the ratios
Not a random pile of on-color cards: every build follows the Commander deck ratios experienced players use. Already have a list? Check its ratios.
Balanced roles
Ramp, card draw, removal, board wipes, protection and creatures are counted and filled to targets that fit the strategy — a spellslinger deck gets more draw, an aggro deck more creatures.
A real mana base
The land count follows the deck’s curve and colors (between 33 and 40), basics are split by the actual colored pips, and a fixing pass makes sure every color can be cast.
Rules checked
Color identity, singleton, the Commander banned list, exactly 100 cards, partner and background pairings — a rule break is shown right at the top.
Synergy, not just staples
EDHREC’s per-commander data and the detected themes decide which cards fit. Sol Ring, Arcane Signet and Command Tower are always in.
Power level at a glance
Game Changers are counted and the deck gets a bracket estimate, so you know before the game whether it fits your table. Brackets explained
A shopping list
Everything you don’t own, sorted by impact, with today’s price — sent to TCGplayer’s Mass Entry in one click, or copied for a Cardmarket wants list. About the shopping list
Then make it yours
Edit card by card
Add cards from your collection or all of Magic, swap any card for the next best one with one tap, or park candidates on the sideboard until you decide.
Import existing decks
Paste a decklist — copied from Moxfield, Archidekt or anywhere else — or open a CSV. Commandarium marks what you own and what you still need. Handy for upgrading a precon.
Export anywhere
The decklist export is read by Moxfield, Archidekt and ManaBox, with the commander marked and the sideboard separated.
Share it
Create a link and anyone can see the deck, what they already own of it and what it costs them to build. About deck sharing
Try it with your own cards
Commandarium is free and runs in your browser — no download, no account needed to start.
Open CommandariumQuestions
Do I need to own a commander to start?
No. Your own legendary creatures are offered first, but you can build around any commander — the cards you don’t own simply go on the shopping list.
Does it only use cards I own?
Your own cards are used first. Where your collection has no good card for a slot, the best missing card is suggested and marked “to buy”, so the deck is always a complete, playable 100.
Can I build from one binder only?
Yes. “Build from” limits the deck to one binder — handy for a box of cards you want to turn into a deck. Step by step: build a Commander deck from one binder.
Does Commandarium use AI to build the deck?
The deck itself is built by Commandarium’s own rules — roles, ratios, color identity — together with EDHREC’s synergy data for your commander, so every card is real, legal and explained. AI comes in afterwards, if you want it: Make it stronger suggests upgrades for a finished deck.
Does it work online and on my phone?
Yes. Commandarium runs in your browser on phone, tablet or computer — nothing to install. With a free account your collection and decks sync between devices.
Is it free?
Yes. Deck building, collection, scanner and prices are free. The optional Plus subscription removes ads and the limit of 5 decks and 5 binders.
